Image Processing


     The image processing tool accesses 45 functions via a command line interface. Built-in image processing functions include: arithmetic operations, trig., exponential and power functions, reflection, rotations, shift, smoothing and edge enhancement, among others. A macro facility allows multiple processing commands to be saved in a file and executed in sequence. Fourier transform and projection reconstruction routines are also available to allow off line processing of MRI or CT raw data. Some of the simple image processing operations are shown in figure C , which also illustrates one of the optional color display scales.
